Lush Knot Wraps are functional and waste-free by being made from either ethically sourced organic cotton or 100% recycled plastic and they come in a variety of colours, designs and sizes! Wrap up your gifts and naked products again and again with our reusable, vibrant and fun knot wraps.
Some designs of this Knot Wrap are 100% Recycled Polyester made from recycled plastic bottles. The bottles are collected to GRS (Global Recycled Standard) and are washed, spun and chipped. These chips are melted and go through a fine spinneret, which extrudes the plastic into yarn. The fabric is then printed using heat transfer method, which can achieve lots of detail and painterly effects, the process also uses less water than rotary printing. Once printed, it is sewn and finished in Anhui Province China. Pass Forward, Re-Use for a LUSH environment.
The other designs of Knot Wrap are made from 100% organic cotton. The cotton is grown and ginned Madhya Pradesh, India, before being sent further South to Tamil Nadu where it is spun and woven. The fabric is then screen printed by artisans at a traditional Sari printer where colours are matched by eye by an ink mixing master. All inks used are certified to be free of SVHCs. (Substances of Very High Concern). The Knot Wraps are then finally sewn by a proprietorship with a social cause supporting the artisan community and empowering women.
