Made from 100% organic cotton, this Knot Wrap is made by the artisans of re-wrap, a social enterprise in India focussing on environmental and social change. re-wrap are working with a local farming group that produces the organic cotton. By working with the farmers directly, re-wrap are able to ensure the farmers receive a fair wage giving them financial security and allowing them to plan for their future. This Knot Wrap is also made as 100% Recycled Polyester made from recycled plastic bottles. The bottles are collected to GRS (Global Recycled Standard) and are washed, spun and chipped. These chips are melted and go through a fine spinneret, which extrudes the plastic into yarn. The fabric is then printed using heat transfer method, which can achieve lots of detail and painterly effects, the process also uses less water than rotary printing. Once printed, it is sewn and finished in Anhui Province China. Pass Forward, Re-Use for a LUSH environment.
